About Us
Camp Directors: Travis Guida and Sarah Coumbe-Guida.
Being around children is something we were born to do. We work in Minnesota public schools as special education teachers. We have opened a high ropes course named the Character Challenge Course, speak at adoption and foster care trainings, and enjoy time with our five children. Last summer at one of our camps a 16 old male youth commented, “Can’t I just stay at camp for the rest of the summer? I never knew learning could be so fun.”

Camp Character establishes an environment where kids develop a sense of community. Through teamwork activities and discussions, your child will learn to network with other children and identify their strengths. It’s our pleasure to provide a place where kids can be themselves. We incorporate hands-on activities into our outdoor learning classroom to make the skills applicable to life. Camp Character is one more piece of the puzzle of coming along side your child to help them reach their fullest potential.
